Thank you for supporting local business. We really appreciate your custom!

We want you to have a “near as possible” dining experience to what you would have had many months ago. However, could we please draw your attention to a number of “house rules” which have been devised with the sole purpose of keeping both staff and customers as safe as possible whilst on the premises:
• If you have any Covid-19 symptoms then please DO NOT VISIT THE RESTAURANT. Signs and symptoms include (but are not limited to): high temperature, a new and persistent cough, loss of taste or smell
• Please only bring essential personal belongings in with you – please leave large items such as coats, shopping bags, etc. (excluding handbags) in your car.
• Tables will be booked in 10 minute time slots. Please arrive promptly at your booked time to allow us to provide you with the service you have come to expect from us and to keep our staff and other customers at a safe distance whilst getting you seated. If there are other customers waiting to enter or leave the restaurant, please follow the 2 meter distancing rule
• Please do not stand at the bar or sit in the bar area at any time for any reason
• There is a one way system in place to enter and leave the restaurant – you will enter through the left hand door via the tarmac and leave via the normal entry/exit door leading to the decking area
• Prior to entering the restaurant, please sanitize your hands (sanitizer station provided at the entrance)
• Prior to entering the restaurant, Joao will take your temperature with a non-contact thermometer (we reserve the right to refuse entry to anyone with a temperature above 37.8 degrees C or anyone who refuses to have their temperature taken)
• Please do not be offended if we don’t shake your hand or hug you
• We ask that men use the Gentlemen’s Toilet in the bar area, trying to avoid passing any incoming customers
• We ask that ladies use both the Lady’s and Gentlemen’s Toilet in the restaurant area – again try to avoid waiting outside the toilet where there isn’t much room. If in doubt, ask a member of staff to check if it’s free
• The disabled toilet is closed to customers (unless someone has need of it and we will then fully sanitize it before use) as this will be used solely for the staff to wash their hands during service
• We understand that there may be someone you know in the restaurant who you haven’t seen for a while. If you would like to sit near them to have a “catch up” and we are able to accommodate you, we will
• Joao will not wear a face covering to take your order but will remain at a 1 metre distance from you. All other staff have been instructed to wear face coverings when serving you in close proximity. This is for your safety.
• We have strict procedures in place for staff. Please be patient if the service isn’t as prompt due to this. They are not able to go into each other’s areas and this might take a bit of getting used to
• If we are unable to use the air-conditioning, we will instead have the windows and doors open where possible
• If you go out to smoke, please use the tarmac area adjacent to the door in which you arrived at the restaurant and maintain a social distance from those customers dining outside on the decking area
• There will be tissues and sanitizers dotted around the restaurant for your use
• Joao will be the only person to issue bills and take payments. This will be done at your table so please be patient if he is with another customer

We sincerely hope you enjoy your lunch or evening with us. If you have any suggestions or comments, please do not hesitate to voice these to Joao or Steph. This is all new for everyone and we welcome constructive dialogue at all times.
