Calamari alla Diavola
Squid pan-fried with cherry tomatoes, onions, garlic and fresh chilli in a touch of olive oil and butter, garnished with rocket leaves
 

Fegatini al ’Italiano
Chicken livers pan fried with onions, mushrooms, thyme, Worcester sauce, senape (Italian mustard) and finished with crème fraiche
 

Salsicce con Spinaci
Italian sausage pan-fried with spinach and onions in a red wine sauce
 

Feta al Forno
Cherry tomatoes and sliced red onions topped with crumbled feta cheese, olive oil and oregano and baked in the oven. Served with ciabatta
 

Penne al Cinghiale
Pasta tubes tossed with wild boar braised with celery, onions and carrots in a rich tomato sauce

 

Main Course

Costata Pepe Verde
Rib eye steak char-grilled and served with a green peppercorn, brandy and cream sauce on the side. Accompanied with sautéed potatoes and green beans (£3.00 supplement)
 

Pollo della Casa
Corn fed chicken breast pan-roasted and served on a bed of cubetti potatoes, cherry tomatoes, red onions, olives, garlic, rosemary and friarielli (turnip tops)
 

Fungho al Gorgonzola
Portobello mushroom filled with sautéed spinach, onions and pine nuts, topped with gorgonzola cheese and baked in the oven. Served with a mixed salad and sautéed potatoes
 

Fritto Misto
Sardine, red mullet, squid, whitebait and julienne of courgette dusted in flour, deep fried and served with cubetti potatoes and home-made tartar sauce
 

Fegato con Peperoni
Strips of calves’ liver pan-fried with onions and sweet Italian peppers in a sage and red wine jus. Served with mashed potato and broccoli
